Time Capsule delivered to Women’s History Museum

Thank you for making history with us! The time capsule built during the 2025 Resilience Rising event in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Kvennaverkfall (the Iceland Women's Strike), and Kvennaár 2025 in October 2025, is now officially closed and being stored at Kvennasögusafn Íslands. The time capsule will remain in their care until the 100th anniversary of Kvennaverkfell on 24 October 2075.

A special thanks to Fab Lab Reykjavik for all the help in personalizing the Time Capsule. We appreciate all the words of hope and advice, stories and celebrations that you all shared with us, and the future.

Of course, none of this would have been possible without the generosity of our sponsors or speakers.

NetApp Ísland, Rafal, Edih-is, Crowberry Capital, Frumtak Ventures, Hafnar.Haus, tix.is, Martex

Thanks to our speakers during the event who inspired, shared history, and personal experiences from their own careers:

Rektor Háskóla Íslands - Silja Bára Ómarsdóttir

Jennica Chiang, CMO, Smitten

and artist SaraRiel, who generously contributed artwork, "Resolve", to capture the overall sentiment and purpose of the event and project.
